Jerry O'Connor has built his practice on the representation of technology entrepreneurs for over 25 years, practicing in this complex and rapidly-evolving area of the law at leading area firms before founding his own practice. He started O'Connor Law Office, P.C. to offer his clients the benefits of big firm experience and know-how along with the personal service, accessibility, and competitive rates of a smaller practice.
Jerry's experience ranges from startup services, to general corporate representation, to M&A counsel. He has handled hundreds of successful transactions for his clients, in industry sectors including software, financial services, manufacturing, robotics, energy/cleantech and professional services.
He has also counseled clients in the not-for-profit space, and has worked with clients exploring hybrid business forms including non-profit/for-profit affiliates, low-profit limited liability companies or LLLCs, and public benefit corporations.
Jerry is a frequent speaker on topics relating to entrepreneurship. He is a long-time volunteer with the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge and has served on the board of various non-profits.
Jerry holds a JD from Northeastern School of Law, 1994, and a BS from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst 1986.
